WorkHub is actively seeking a friendly, detail-oriented person to be the face of our workspace in the role of Community Specialist. You will help us grow the community by creating great member experiences and events, while executing sales and operational tasks with excellence.  This position helps establish a flourishing and vibrant shared-space community.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or relevant experience
  • Customer service and sales experience required
  • Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize a large volume of tasks
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work after-hours and weekends
  • Cold-outreach experience a plus

The core responsibilities of this person include:

  • Develop community initiatives designed to create connections between members, including member introductions, overseeing member-focused events, IT and printer support, and building walk-throughs
  • Ensuring that space and conference rooms are prepared, clean and welcoming to members and community guests
  • Help maintain high member occupancy by achieving membership goals and member retention
  • Recommend and implement rules, guidelines and best practices for the community to optimize member experience
  • Create and build rapport with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Supervise move-ins and move-outs for quality experience
  • Manage social media outlets and deploy community newsletter and announcements
  • Monitor inventory and areas of concern to be bought to the Operations Manager’s attention

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Greet members, guests, and informing members of guest arrival
  • Schedule and giving tours of our workspace
  • Sign up new members
  • Help and support Operations Manager with daily tasks
  • Help and support Community Outreach Coordinator with events
  • Accept packages and sorting mail
  • Open and close space daily
  • Keeping kitchen area cleaned up and the coffee flowing
  • Utilizing social media and other forms of marketing and communication channels to market our workspace and highlight members
