This position is best suited for a strategic thinker, partnership builder, friendly and energetic pair of hands that can execute community events within the Tyler network. Experience in event management, community partnership building, and sales of event space is critical. This person plans and executes events and experiences that inspire/connect members and appeal to non-members to join WorkHub.

The Community Outreach Coordinator main objective will be to oversee events to ensure there is a good balance of educational, member appreciation, and lead generating and sales-related events.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Previous event planning experience and marketing
  • Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize a large volume of tasks
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Great customer services and sales skills required
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Experience in cold-outreach
  • Must be able to work after-hours and weekends

The core responsibilities of this person include:

  • Event planning and events strategy
  • Event partnership building, networking, and marketing
  • Event logistics and execution
  • Effective promote and sale of event space
  • Effective marketing and promotion of events in multiple outbound outlets
  • Expanding event space usage by non-members
  • Space setup and teardown (assistance available for larger events)
  • Organize catering and entertainment (when applicable)
  • Greeting attendees and performing attendee check-ins
  • Testing and running A/V equipment
  • Utilizing social media and other forms of marketing and communication to highlight events and the workspace
  • Point of contact for all community sponsorships and public relations opportunities
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

General WorkHub Staff Responsibilities:

  • Learning all software systems (Office R&D, Ezeep, Kisi, and CRM system-TBD)
  • Providing tours and signed up new members
  • Making coffee
  • Keeping the space clean and neat
  • Booking conference rooms and event space for members (as needed) & non-members
  • Covering the front desk when needed
  • Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee
