Co-Working Connects Tyler to Global Trend in Business

(Tyler, Texas, March 12, 2019) WorkHub, a co-working space in South Tyler founded by local leader and philanthropist Lisa Lujan, will start rolling out new initiatives to impact business in East Texas under new CEO Yaziri (Yo) Orrostieta. WorkHub currently has 185 members representing over 52 businesses throughout the United States, helping to make the city of Tyler a local hub of one of the fastest growing trends in the global workforce. In 2017, Statista reported approximately 15,500 co-working spaces are in operation around the world.

A small business owner in real estate, Yo represents the dual interests of many of today’s workers who pursue other business interests outside of their full-time jobs and need a low-fee, membership service like WorkHub to serve as their base. Employers are also allowing more employees to utilize co-working spaces to increase their productivity outside of the traditional office setting and to network with other members.

Of her vision to transform how East Texas does business, Yo says, “I am excited to bring my knowledge of business, real estate, and community involvement to strengthen our own community of members at WorkHub. We want to be the hub for innovation and creativity for not only small businesses and entrepreneurs but also existing businesses looking to relocate teams to our wonderful facility.”

Yo is the former Vice President of Marketing at Heritage Land Bank and Digital Marketing Manager at Mentoring Minds. WorkHub is located at 7922 South Broadway in Tyler, Texas, and is open for free tours Monday-Friday. Visit for more information.
