Job Scope

This position is best suited for a strategic thinker, partnership builder, friendly and energetic pair of hands that can execute member and community events within the Tyler network. Experience in event management and community partnership building is critical. This person plans and executes events and experiences that inspire/connect members and appeal to non-members to join WorkHub

Skills Required

  • Outstanding customer service and hospitality skills
  • Proven event planning and execution experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations
  • Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Self-starter and fast learner
  • Ability to solve problems with innovative thinking
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Event planning and events strategy
  • Event partnership building and networking
  • Event logistics and execution
  • Effective promotion of events in all designated outlets
  • Expanding event space capabilities and quality
  • Space setup and teardown (assistance available for larger events)
  • Organize catering and entertainment (when applicable)
  • Greeting attendees and performing attendee check-ins
  • Testing and running A/V equipment
  • Utilizing social media and other forms of marketing and communication to highlight our members and the workspace
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekend events

General WorkHub Staff Responsibilities

  • Learning all software systems (Office R&D, Ezeep, Kisi, and CRM system)
  • Providing tours and signed up new members
  • Making coffee
  • Keeping the space clean and neat
  • Booking conference rooms and event space for members & non-members
  • Covering the front desk
