That friendly, people-loving guy giving out great first impressions.

One thin layer below Lisa’s even-tempered exterior is the rapidly beating heart of a passionate leader. First to give. First to step out. First to not only see the gap but also to stand in it on behalf of others. While some saw an enormous empty building with a layout as awkward as a blind date, Lisa saw something else arising. Enter WorkHub: space redesigned to draw hardworking professionals together in new ways and infuse their workday with productivity, innovation, and networking. Originally from the gorgeous high desert of Albuquerque, she fell in love with her husband, Michael, while-yes-dancing to “La Bamba.” The Lujans moved to Tyler in 1995 and have two girls. Lisa’s door is wide open to other radical entrepreneurs, under-served community leaders, and anyone out there making a difference every day.

Yo helps individuals and organizations be at their best. Raised in Mexico, she and her parents came to Tyler when she was six years old. Although successful in Mexico, her parents’ education and experience did not carry over immediately in East Texas. They depended on others to get started, and now Yo gives back to the community that gave to her. As a young adult, the Lujans mentored Yo. Through her involvement in WorkHub, she’s able to apply many of the lessons she learned. “I work for fun. Isn’t that weird?” Yo says of her free time. But to know her is to know that it’s not that weird at all. After all, entrepreneurship and espresso from her bedside red Keurig run in her veins. Ask Yo about her social mission-and be prepared to share yours-whenever you meet up at WorkHub.

Hannah grew up in Japan, but she got to Texas as soon as she could. Along the way she made a quick detour serving in the United States Peace Corp in Bulgaria, where her fire for the 21st Abolitionist Movement began. When Hannah’s not at WorkHub making the world right for its members, she’s out with friends swapping stories of substance about the greater purpose of life. She still gets a laugh out of watching her miniature Goldendoodle, Miller (named after author Donald Miller), effortlessly draw crowds at True Vine. Hannah’s perfect day is one where she can upgrade your WorkHub experience, make meaningful connections with others who want more out of their 24 hours, and share a coffee (or beer) with new and old friends. Consider this your standing invitation to join her at WorkHub’s Hospitality Hub anytime.

Who’s that friendly, people-loving guy giving out great first impressions like candy? That would be Andrew, who landed a dream job for extroverts when he became our Hospitality Host. Day in and day out, Andrew is making sure you have an upgraded experience at WorkHub in our amenity-rich environment. Fresh coffee? Food? Paper in the copier? He’s thought of all the details you need for a perfect workday so you can get it done…while enjoying the perks that you don’t get sitting at a coffee shop or paying rent for a single office. Andrew’s vision for WorkHub is connecting people across different industries every day. He’s a psychology major at Southern New Hampshire University, hitting the books and typing on his laptop in his free time—when he’s not jamming out on his guitar. If you need anything at all to improve your WorkHub experience, see Andrew.

For Taylor, it’s all about community and making connections. As our Community Event Manager, she’s responsible for planning amazing programs and events hosted at WorkHub. Maybe it’s a lecture on leadership. Maybe it’s a forum on sports—or accessing capital for small businesses. Taylor oversees all of it, creating spaces and events for a variety of members to connect with one another and grow both personally and professionally. Her favorite moment is when she steps back and sees people thriving off the professional relationships they develop at WorkHub. Originally from Louisiana, Taylor and her husband, Chase, now live and work in Tyler. In their free time, they get outside as often as possible. They live for an unusual meal at home, a great playlist, and a houseful of people. Give Taylor a ring with your ideas for community development anytime.
